Research assistant and builder.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from SUNY Poly, December 2025. I went straight into a research assistant role in the same nanotechnology lab where I'd been working as a student coordinator. My responsibilities include thin-film depositions, surface characterization, AFM and SEM data collection, equipment maintenance, and helping onboard new lab members.
Before SUNY Poly, I was at Dutchess Community College for an A.S. in Electrical Technology. The mechatronics lab covered PLCs, pneumatics, and industrial automation. We learned how to wire control panels, troubleshoot ladder logic, and work with industry-standard equipment. My time at DCC was also recognized by a writer for The New York Times.
Outside the lab I work on personal projects and spend time outdoors.
